Melissa Hawley, DVM

Dr. Hawley received her DVM from the University of California, Davis, School of Veterinary Medicine. She moved to Colorado following this to complete an intensive year-long internship focused on internal medicine and emergency care at the Colorado State Veterinary Teaching Hospital. After completion of this internship, Dr. Hawley entered the field of primary care medicine in the Fort Collins/Loveland area.

Dr. Hawley was on staff as an associate veterinarian with Worthington Animal Clinic from 2019-2021; she stepped away for a couple years when her son was born and is now excited to rejoin the team! During this time away from the clinic, Dr. Hawley worked as a telemedicine consultant veterinarian, which challenged her clinical skills in a different way.

Dr. Hawley enjoys all aspects of preventative care as well as general surgery.

Dr. Hawley lives in Fort Collins, Colorado. She has one adorable and energetic toddler son and two domestic long-hair cats.

She enjoys a great book (or many), skiing, hiking, and camping.
